Description

This 0.875″ ID x 0.977″ ODhigh modulus hexagonal carbon fiber tubing is fabricated with multiple layers of high strength  HM unidirectional carbon fiber prepreg and has a 3K 2×2 twill fabric on the exterior.  High modulus carbon fiber is 2.5X stiffer than aluminum, or equivalent to steel stiffness, and has very similar strength to standard modulus carbon fiber tubing.  This is an excellent choice for demanding, weight sensitive applications.  This 7/8″ carbon fiber tube is roll-wrapped and fabricated in-house at our US facility.

Designed For: Bending applications

Fiber Orientation: Mostly 0° plies (axial) with some 90° plies (hoop)
